يستهل منتخبنا الوطني لألعاب القوى للشباب (تحت 20 سنة) مشواره المونديالي في بطولة العالم التي تستضيفها أوريغون الأمريكية اعتبارا من اليوم لغاية 9 أغسطس الجاري، ويخوض أدعم القوى هذا التحدي العالمي الكبير بطموحات عريضة وآمال واسعة لتقديم مستويات مشرفة تليق بمسيرة التطور المتسارع للرياضة القطرية، وبما يعكس الدعم اللا محدود الذي تحظى به اللعبة لتعزيز رصيد إنجازاتها التاريخية الحافلة بالعطاء. وقد دفع العنابي بكتيبة واعدة تضم ستة من أبرز نجوم المستقبل الذين تم إعدادهم وتأهيلهم بعناية فائقة عبر برامج تدريبية مكثفة تحت إشراف أجهزة فنية رفيعة المستوى، وذلك بهدف رفع جاهزيتهم للحدود القصوى من أجل مقارعة نخبة من رياضيي العالم في منافسات قوية تتطلب أعلى درجات التركيز والتحمل البدني والذهني، حيث يقود الطموحات القطرية في سباقات المضمار العداء يوسف عبد العزيز في سباق 400 متر، والعداء محمد وحيد الذي يخوض غمار التنافس في سباق 1500 متر. وعلى صعيد مسابقات الميدان والمسابقات الفنية، يحمل الآمال القطرية كل من عبد الرحمن المالكي في مسابقة الوثب العالي، وعبد الله العبد الله في مسابقة القفز بالزانة، إلى جانب الثنائي حمد ضاوي الذي يمثل العنابي في مسابقة قذف القرص، وعبد الرحمن إبراهيم الذي يخوض تحدي مسابقة إطاحة المطرقة، ليمثل هذا السداسي الرهان الحقيقي لمستقبل أم الألعاب العنابية في هذا المحفل العالمي الكبير. وتأتي هذه المشاركة الدولية المهمة لتؤكد نجاح النهج الاستراتيجي والمدروس للرياضة القطرية في بناء وتطوير الفئات السنية.

استهل منتخبنا الوطني للكرة الطائرة الشاطئية مشواره في النسخة الأولى من جولة غرب آسيا المقامة حاليًا في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية بانطلاقة قوية، بعدما نجح ثنائي الأدعم موسى الخير، ومحمد إيهاب في تحقيق فوز مستحق على منتخب السعودية المكون من الثنائي أحمد محفوظ، ووافي الجاسر بشوطين دون رد، بواقع (25-23) و(21-10).
ويخوض منتخبنا الوطني للرجال مباراته الثانية اليوم أمام منتخب العراق المكون من الثنائي أسامة صبّار، وحسين نمير كمونة، لتعزيز حظوظه في التأهل إلى الأدوار النهائية.

Doha, Qatar: Alkrar (Azadi) claimed his first victory at the highest level by winning the Gr.1 (PA) Al Rayyan Cup while HM Alchahine (Al Mourtajez) claimed the Gr.1 (PA) Doha Cup (Prix Manganate) in thrilling action at Deauville in France yesterday.

Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) chairman Hamad bin Abdulrahman Al Attiya and QREC Board Member Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Attiyah presented the trophies for the QREC-sponsored Al Rayyan Cup (Prix Kesberoy) and Doha Cup (Prix Manganate).

Their presentation crowned a stellar afternoon of Group 1 PA action across the two contests staged at Deauville.

Alkrar (Azadi), the unbeaten three-year-old colt - bred by Al Wasmiyah Racing - claimed his first victory at the highest level by winning the Gr.1 (PA) Al Rayyan Cup – Prix Kesberoy over 2000m.

The race was contested by a field of four runners, comprising three colts and one filly. The race was reserved for three-year-old Purebred Arabians.

Trained by François Rohaut, ridden by Christophe Soumillon and owned and bred by Al Wasmiyah Racing, the homebred colt maintained his perfect record with a determined performance.QREC Chairman Hamad bin Abdulrahman Al Attiya presented the trophies to the connections of Alkrar, winners of the Gr.1 Al Rayyan Cup.

Alkrar came into the race unbeaten in two previous starts. He made a successful debut over 1600m at La Teste, winning comfortably, before confirming his potential on his second appearance by taking a Gr.3 (PA) contest over 1900m at the same racecourse. His victory at Deauville therefore marked his third success from three starts and his first at Gr.1 (PA) level.

Alkrar broke very well from the stalls but was immediately taken back by Christophe Soumillon to settle in third position, just behind Balsam (Mister Ginoux). Zahim (Al Mamun Monlau) led the field in a single-file formation, followed by Balsam in second, Alkrar in third, and Npedor De Bozouls at the rear.

With the runners travelling at an even tempo, the order remained unchanged throughout most of the race. Leaving the final turn, Christophe Soumillon made an early move aboard Alkrar and quickly sent him forward to join Balsam at the head of the field. The two runners soon pulled clear of the other runners, but Balsam continued to offer strong resistance as they approached the final 200m. In a thrilling finish, Alkrar found something extra under pressure and gradually gained the advantage, eventually prevailing by three-quarters of a length. Balsam finished second, with Zahim taking third.

HM Alchahine claims fourth Gr.1 victory

HM Alchahine, Bred by H. Mousli and Mme N. Mousalli, claimed the fourth Gr.1 (PA) victory of his career by winning the Gr.1 (PA) Doha Cup over 2000m. The race was reserved for four-year-old and older Purebred Arabians and attracted a strong field of seven runners. Trained by Mme Jean-François Bernard, ridden by Cristian Demuro, and owned by Helal Alalawi, HM Alchahine produced an impressive turn of foot to win once again at the highest level.

The six-year-old colt came into the race following an excellent seasonal reappearance at La Teste the previous month, when he finished third in the Gr.2 (PA) Prix Deryan over 1900m.

As is often the case, HM Alchahine was settled at the rear of the field during the early stages. Romeo At (Af Al Buraq) immediately took the lead and set a good tempo, with Al Theeb racing in second position and Laffan in third.

Leaving the final turn, Romeo At kicked clear and lifted the pace. Al Theeb was quickly placed under pressure and was unable to follow the leader’s acceleration. However, HM Alchahine began to make rapid progress on the far outside.

HM Alchahine produced a devastating turn of foot to sweep past the entire field. Only Laffan was able to give chase, but he could not match the winner’s acceleration. HM Alchahine continued strongly to win by one and a half lengths, with Laffan finishing second and Romeo At holding on for third. Bred by H. Mousli and Mme N. Mousalli, HM Alchahine is out of Al Chyhanah.

Juan Bezerra has reportedly informed Zamalek that he wants to leave and asked the club to discuss Shabab Al Ahli’s offer for the Brazilian.

Bezerra has notified Zamalek of his desire to end his spell in Cairo and consider the Emirati proposal from Shabab Al Ahli. The Brazilian winger remains determined to leave despite attempts by board member Hussein El-Sayed to convince him to stay, according to reports.

Shabab Al Ahli have opened formal talks over a summer transfer, but the White Knights are reluctant to let go of their star forward after his impressive performances last season.

The Dubai side’s opening proposal is said to be valued at approximately $3.5 million. However, Zamalek are seeking at least $6 million, alongside a future resale percentage and performance-related bonuses.

Zamalek board member Ahmed Soliman acknowledged that the club had received a significant offer but publicly rejected the prospect of a sale. “We do not want to sell Bezerra, and we will not sell any player,” Soliman said.

Bezerra joined Zamalek from Oleksandriya for a reported $1.8 million in August 2025 and signed a four-year contract running until June 2029.

He recorded eight goals and 12 assists in 44 appearances during his first season, helping Zamalek win the Egyptian Premier League and reach the CAF Confederation Cup final.

اشتدت الضغوط على الرئيس السويسري-الإيطالي للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) جياني إنفانتينو، مع بروز معارضة من داخل الهيئة الحاكمة لكرة القدم العالمية، إضافة إلى انتقادات خارجية، بسبب مقترحه الذي تراجع عنه لاحقا لفتح الباب أمام استثمارات خاصة في كأس العالم.
وقال المدرب الفرنسي السابق لأرسنال الإنجليزي أرسين فينغر الذي عيّنه إنفانتينو عام 2019 مديرا لتطوير كرة القدم العالمية في فيفا، في بيان الثلاثاء إن «قرار سحب المشروع كان ضروريا تماما ولا جدال فيه».
وجاءت تصريحاته بعد وقت قصير من رسالة إلكترونية داخلية استثنائية وجهها الأمين العام السويدي لفيفا ماتياس غرافستروم إلى موظفي الاتحاد، بدا فيها وكأنه ينأى بنفسه عن إنفانتينو في هذه القضية. ويصف غرافستروم الذي كان يُنظر إليه سابقا على أنه أحد المقربين من إنفانتينو، الفوضى التي أحاطت بالمشروع بأنها «سلسلة مؤسفة ومستوجبة للوم من الأحداث».
وأضاف «الأفراد واللحظات غير المستقرة والحوادث المؤسفة تأتي وتذهب. أما المؤسسة ورسالتها ومسؤوليتها تجاه كرة القدم العالمية فمستمرة».
وبدلا من تهدئة الأوضاع أو تعزيز موقعه الرئاسي، وجد إنفانتينو نفسه غارقا في الانتقادات الموجهة إلى أسلوبه القيادي، فيما بات الطريق الذي كان يبدو ممهدا لإعادة انتخابه بالتزكية لولاية رابعة وأخيرة في الرباط في مارس المقبل، أكثر وعورة من أي وقت مضى.
على الرغم من سحبه للمشروع، وجّه ويفا عبر محاميه في الولايات المتحدة رسالة هدد فيها باتخاذ إجراءات قانونية بشأن ما وصفه بعبارات لاذعة بأنه «صفقة رديئة وغامضة أُبرمت خلف الأبواب المغلقة». وورد ذكر كل من غرافستروم وفينغر، إلى جانب المدير التنفيذي للعمليات في فيفا الفرنسي كيفن لامور الذي انتقد المشروع بشدة الجمعة، في الرسالة، باعتبارهم مطلعين على مشروع «فيفا فوروورد إنتربرايز»، وطُلب منهم الاحتفاظ بجميع «المواد ذات الصلة».
وجاء في الرسالة التي بعث بها المحامي الأمريكي لويفا أندرو ليفاندر الجمعة الماضي «السيد إنفانتينو المحترم. يوجّه الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم إشعارا رسميا بأنه يدرس بجدية اتخاذ إجراءات قانونية، أو اللجوء إلى التحكيم، و/‏أو تقديم شكاوى تنظيمية (ويشار إليها مجتمعة بالـ+إجراءات+)، تنشأ عن خطة +فيفا فوروورد إنتربرايز+ التي اقترحها فيفا وجميع المسائل المرتبطة بها كما هو موضح أدناه».
