49ers Release LB Deion Jones

The 49ers have released linebacker Deion Jones shortly after acquiring him in a trade from the Saints for running back Zamir White.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the 49ers have released the veteran linebacker after a brief stint in San Francisco. Jones was a second-round pick of the Falcons in 2016 and made it to the Pro Bowl in his second season.

Throughout his career, Jones has played for the Falcons (6 years), Browns (1 year), Panthers (1 year), Buccaneers (2 years), and Saints before joining the 49ers. He has 128 regular-season appearances and 91 starts to his name. freshyourfeel.org
