Butker's 69-yard FG nearly breaks NFL record

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker kicked a 69-yard field goal on the final play of the first half Saturday night, just short of the NFL record.

Butker's kick cleared the crossbar by a few yards and would have been a record if it was the regular season. The current NFL record is 68 yards, set by Jaguars kicker Cam Little in November 2025. Butker also had field goals of 45 and 58 yards in the first half as the Chiefs lead the Bucs 9-0 at halftime. newsindata.com
