College Football Playoff to Clash with NFL Again

The College Football Playoff will once again compete with NFL games on Saturday, December 19, 2026, when three CFP games will conflict with Week 15 NFL matchups.

The 2026-27 College Football Playoff schedule features three games on December 19: noon, 3:30, and 7:30 ET. The later two games will compete directly with NFL contests on Fox and CBS, including Seahawks-Eagles at 4 p.m. and Bears-Bills at 7:20 p.m.

This head-to-head scheduling has occurred since the CFP expanded to 12 teams two years ago, with NFL games consistently drawing higher ratings. The CFP begins on December 18 when no NFL games are scheduled. ipltable.lol
