Diamondbacks Retain Lovullo on Two-Year Deal

The Arizona Diamondbacks have retained manager Torey Lovullo on a two-year deal, multiple outlets reported Thursday.

The decision comes after Lovullo's 10th season (2017-26) with the Diamondbacks, where he led them to an 86-76 record but missed the playoffs for the third consecutive year. Despite this stretch, Lovullo's tenure includes a 2023 NL pennant victory and the most managerial wins in franchise history (750). livefromquarantine.club

Lovullo and general manager Mike Hazen have both been with the organization since 2017. Several players, including starting pitchers Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly, are set to hit free agency this coming offseason.
