Donovan to Begin Rehab Assignment in Coming Days

Brendan Donovan is slated to begin a rehab assignment with the Double‑A Arkansas Travelers next week, according to Mariners GM Justin Hollander.

Donovan, who has been out since mid‑April with a left groin strain, will play two rehab games in Arkansas on Tuesday and Wednesday. If those appearances go well, he could rejoin the major‑league roster in Chicago after the off‑day on Thursday. michezonews.co.za
