Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has been named the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year after making history with 21 assists in the past season.

Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United's captain, has been honored with the PFA Player of the Year award, considered the most prestigious individual honor in English football. The Portuguese midfielder made history by providing 21 assists in the recently concluded season.

Fernandes was nominated alongside Manchester City's Erling Braut Haaland and Rayan Cherki, and Arsenal's Declan Rice, Gabriel, and David Raya. Notably, Haaland became the first Scandinavian to win the PFA title in 2023 after scoring 52 goals in 53 matches for Manchester City in his debut season.
