Fields Could Return to Giants

Justin Fields, who was traded from the Jets to the Chiefs as a backup for Patrick Mahomes, has emerged as a potential option for the New York Giants. The Giants are expected to make a move by Monday, with Fields possibly serving as a backup to Jameis Winston or eventually replacing starter Jaxson Dart, who will miss the rest of the regular season due to knee surgery.

Fields has been mentioned multiple times by reporters as a possibility for the Giants. His two-year, $40 million contract includes $10 million guaranteed for 2026, with the Chiefs paying $3 million and the Jets $7 million. With Mahomes performing well, the Chiefs could recoup their 2027 sixth-round pick and unload the rest of Fields's 2026 salary by moving him. fishroad-app.com
