Hoel Wins Toppidrettsveka Classic Race

Johan Hoel triumphed in the 53km classic race at Toppidrettsveka on Hitra, edging out Swedish competitor Tage Borjesson after breaking away from the field. In the women's category, Sweden claimed a clean sweep with Stina Nilsson winning the sprint finish ahead of Louise Lindström and Moa Ilar. Norwegian favorite Astrid Øyre Slind was absent due to illness. Harald Østberg Amundsen was the top Norwegian finisher in seventh place.
