La UEFA adopta el modelo de liguilla de la Champions para el fútbol de selecciones
La UEFA ha adoptado este martes el formato de liguilla de la Champions League para el fútbol de selecciones después de la Eurocopa de 2028, lo que supone un cambio drástico en el actual formato. Bajo el nuevo modelo, la Nations League pasará de las cuatro ligas actuales a tres de 18 equipos. Cada una estará dividida en tres grupos de seis equipos, que jugarán seis partidos contra cinco rivales distintos. Sin embargo, la estructura de cuartos de final, el ascenso y descenso de categoría y la final a cuatro equipos permanecerá idéntica a la actual.

Barcelona to Host 2029 Champions League Final
During Tuesday's board meeting, UEFA finalized the allocation of future European cup finals. The men's Champions League will be held in Munich in 2028 and Barcelona's Camp Nou in 2029, after Barcelona beat competition from London's Wembley Stadium. The women's Champions League final is scheduled for Lyon's stadium in Décines in 2028, followed by Cardiff in 2029.
Other finals allocated include the Europa League in Bucharest (2028) and Belgrade (2029), the Conference League in Turin (2028) and Budapest (2029), and the UEFA Super Cup in Amsterdam (2027) and Astana (2028). Munich was the only bidder for the 2028 men's final.
