Spanish cyclist Enric Mas has conquered the Vuelta a España, becoming the first Spanish rider to win the race in 12 years. The 31-year-old from Mallorca takes the mantle from Alberto Contador, who last won in 2011.
Currently in Andorra with limited rest before his next competition, Mas expressed his emotions about the victory, saying: "Se me han escapado las lágrimas y algunas más caerán" (The tears have escaped me and more will fall). He is already preparing for the World Championship in Canada, where he is sporting a new mustache look. palladian.co.za
