NCAA Probes Cincinnati Over Sorsby Gambling

The NCAA has sent a formal letter of inquiry to the University of Cincinnati regarding former quarterback Brendan Sorsby and his gambling issues during his two seasons with the program.

NCAA officials want to know what Cincinnati knew about Sorsby's gambling while he played for the Bearcats. Sorsby was declared permanently ineligible in April after placing thousands of impermissible sports bets over his college career. liveiplscore.homes

Sorsby, who played two seasons at Indiana and Cincinnati before transferring to Texas Tech, acknowledged making at least 165 bets totaling at least $38,000 in 2024. Cincinnati coach Scott Satterfield declined to comment on the inquiry, while a school spokesperson stated they believe no athletics officials were aware of the impermissible wagering.
