Saints waive WR Austin, TE Welch

The New Orleans Saints have waived receiver Kevin Austin Jr. and tight end Treyton Welch after claiming offensive tackle Mason Murphy and defensive tackle Colby Wooden off waivers.

The Saints made corresponding roster moves after adding two players earlier on Monday. Austin, 26, has appeared in 16 games for New Orleans over the last two seasons, catching 13 passes for 140 yards with a touchdown in eight contests in 2025. Welch, 25, appeared in three games with one start last season.

New Orleans claimed offensive tackle Mason Murphy from the Bears and defensive tackle Colby Wooden from the Colts earlier on Monday to fill the roster spots. cricket-info.homes
