Switzerland Beat Colombia on Penalties

Switzerland defeated Colombia 4-3 on penalties to advance to the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 1954.

Switzerland secured their place in the quarter-finals after a dramatic penalty shootout against Colombia. The match remained goalless for more than two hours before the Swiss prevailed 4-3 on penalties.
