In the WNBA's 2026 GM Survey, 33% of general managers selected Paige Bueckers as the player they would build a team around, surprising over Caitlin Clark and A'ja Wilson who tied at 20%.

In the WNBA's annual general manager survey released May 5, Paige Bueckers emerged as the top choice for building a franchise, receiving 33% of votes. This represents a shift from 2025 when Caitlin Clark received 50% of votes in the same category. A'ja Wilson, the current MVP, tied with Clark at 20%.

Other survey results showed the Las Vegas Aces as favorites to repeat as champions (40%) and Wilson as the likely MVP winner again (60%). General managers were not allowed to vote for their own team or personnel. djcc.club
