After a breakout season with the Indianapolis Colts, quarterback Daniel Jones will have the opportunity to leverage his performance for a new contract. The Colts announced they will place the transition tag on Jones, which costs $37.833M—$6M cheaper than the franchise tag but allows Jones to sign offer sheets with other teams.
Despite a season-ending injury, Jones started 13 games for the Colts in 2025, passing for 3,101 yards and 19 touchdowns while recording a career-best 68% completion percentage. He also added 164 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.
