Illini Snaps Streak, Throttles Oregon on Senior Night

Illinois snapped its losing streak with an 80-54 victory over Oregon on Senior Night, with Andrej Stojakovic leading the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Illinois (20-11, 11-8 Big Ten) put an end to their February struggles with a dominant 80-54 win over Oregon on Tuesday night at the State Farm Center. The victory came on Senior Night as the Illini honored Kylan Boswell, Ben Humrichous, and AJ Redd before their final home game. Junior Andrej Stojakovic led the charge with a career-high 12 rebounds to go along with his 21 points, while freshmen Keaton Wagler (11 points) and David Mirkovic (19 points) provided strong offensive support.

The Illini secured their win with a 38-12 run in the final 15 minutes of the first half, holding Oregon scoreless for over six minutes during that stretch. The victory moves Illinois closer to securing a top-four finish in the Big Ten standings and a triple-bye in next week's Big Ten Tournament.
