Red Sox's Bello Dominates Tigers In WBC Debut

Red Sox pitcher Brayan Bello dominated the Detroit Tigers in his first World Baseball Classic start for the Dominican Republic, tossing three shutout innings.

Bello allowed just one hit and zero earned runs over three innings, striking out two while facing the Tigers' projected lineup. The right-hander threw 42 pitches, matching his highest preseason count.

Despite struggling in Spring Training, Bello's velocity remained around 95 mph, and his performance comes just days after working with Pedro Martinez.
