Texans Acquire David Montgomery in Trade for Late-Round Picks

Houston traded a 2026 fourth‑round pick, a 2027 seventh‑round pick and offensive tackle Juice Scruggs to the Detroit Lions for veteran running back David Montgomery. Montgomery, 28, will be the Texans’ lead back alongside rookie Woody Marks.
