Can Jayson Tatum fit into the Boston Celtics when he returns from injury? We may know that the St. Louis native can play at an elite level with his costar on the wing Jaylen Brown under normal circumstances. But a lot has changed since Tatum went down with his Achilles tear vs. the New York Knicks in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The roster, to start, is very different, with the likes of Jrue Holiday, Luke Kornet, Al Horford, and Kristaps Porzingis all on new rosters via trades and free agency in the 2025 offseason. The players who have joined the team are mostly playing a different way than the Duke alum is used to, and did we mention that Brown is having a season that has him a legit Most Valuable Player candidate?
